    Important Note for Students

Fall 2021 test optional: New first-year students will be reviewed using the test optional dollar amount for the Cowboy Commitment (residents) and the Brown & Gold Commitment (non-residents); students who submit ACT/SAT test scores will be evaluated to determine if both unweighted GPA and test scores make them eligible for a possible higher tier.

Wyoming Residents: Based on Wyoming Hathaway Legislation, eligible Wyoming students must submit ACT/SAT test scores for consideration of the Hathaway Scholarship. The Trustee Scholarship will also require an ACT/SAT test score.

Non-Residents: The Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) award will still require an ACT/SAT score.
